GoI Releases NeSDA Way Forward Monthly Report- December 2025

On January 22, 2026, The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (MoPPG&P), Government of India (GoI), released the 32nd edition of the National electronic (e)-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA)- Way Forward Monthly Report, covering the progress up to December 2025.

About NeSDA Way Forward Monthly Reports: 

Overview: The report, published by DARPG, tracks progress, identifies gaps and bottlenecks, highlights best practices, and supports States and Union Territories (UTs) in enhancing public service delivery through digital platforms.

• The services include licenses, certificates, payments, utility services, etc.

Data Source: The reports are based on data uploaded to the NeSDA- Way Forward dashboard.

Highlights of the 32nd NeSDA Way Forward Monthly Report:

E-Services: As of December 2025, a total of 24,090 e-services are provided across States and UTs, with the largest share of 8,656 services in the Local Governance & Utility Services sector. 156 new services were added in November 2025.

Saturation of Mandatory e-Services: 22 States and UTs achieved over 90% saturation of 59 mandatory e-services, namely Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh (AP), Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (HP), Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir (J&K), and Karnataka.

• It also includes Kerala, Madhya Pradesh (MP), Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu (TN), Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh (UP), Uttarakhand, and West Bengal (WB).

Unified Service Portals: 

100% Services: Portals such as Sewa Setu (Assam), electronic Unified, Integrated, Accessible and Transparent (e-UNNAT) (Jammu & Kashmir, J&K), Seva Sindhu (Karnataka), Odisha One (Odisha), MP e-Service (MP), Apuni Sarkar (Uttarakhand), and e-Sevanam (Kerala) provide 100% of services.

90% Services: Portals such as e-District Chandigarh (Chandigarh), e-District Delhi (Delhi), Saral Haryana (Haryana), and e-Mitra (Rajasthan) provide 90% of the services.

Best Practices: The report highlights the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) as best-practice Central Government portals.

• It highlights Puducherry and Guwahati Municipality Portals as examples of city-level digital platforms that are enhancing citizen interaction and service delivery.

Assessment Parameters: The report presents key insights based on five AAKLAN assessment parameters for evaluating State and UT Unified Service Portals, focusing on service delivery quality, accessibility, and overall citizen experience.
