SSC JE Paper 2 Result 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final result of the Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) exam 2024. The official website to check the SSC JE 2024 final result is ssc.gov.in. As many as 1,701 vacancies are filled as part of the recruitment process.
The SSC JE marks scored by the candidates in both paper-1 and paper-2 have been used for determining the final merit and cut-off marks. The minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II of the exams are 30 per cent (Paper-1- 60, Paper-2- 90) for UR, 25 per cent (Paper-1- 50, Paper 2- 75) for OBC/EWS and 20 per cent (Paper-I- 40, Paper-II- 60) for all other categories.
“If a candidate scoring more than the cut-off marks in the final result of the Examination is not shortlisted due to any reason, he/she must represent the Regional Office concerned of the Commission within one month from the declaration of the final result,” SSC said while announcing the SSC JE 2024 final result.
In cases where more than one candidate has secured equal aggregate marks in Paper-I and Paper-II, tie has been resolved by applying the following methods one after another in the given order till the tie is resolved:
i. Total marks in Paper-II.
ii. Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
iii. Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.
The final result of seven candidates has been kept withheld due to various court orders. Final answer keys as well as marks of the shortlisted/ not-shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Commission shortly, SSC added.
