Odisha Police Recruitment 2025: The Odisha Police Recruitment Board has announced the recruitment of 933 vacancies for sub-inspectors and other positions. The online registration and application process has been started today and will close on February 10.
Candidates who are interested to apply and meet the eligibility criteria can register at odishapolice.gov.in. There is no application fee for the recruitment for all categories and the admit cards will be released one week before the exam.
Odisha Police Recruitment 2025: VacanciesÂ
–Sub-Inspector of Police: 609 posts
–Sub-Inspector of Armed Police: 253 posts
–Station Officer in the fire service department: 47 posts
–Assistant Jailor under home department: 24 posts
Odisha Police Recruitment 2025: Educational qualification
— A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. It is necessary for the posts of sub-inspectors.
— Candidates applying in the fire service department, must have a science or engineering background from a recognised institution.
–The candidate must speak, read and write Odia.
Odisha Police Recruitment 2025: Who can apply?Â
–Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not more than 25 years old as of January 1, 2024. The age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, and women categories.
–For ex-servicemen, the entire period of service will be considered for age relaxation. In cases where a candidate qualifies for age relaxation under multiple categories, the option that offers the benefit will be applied.
–Persons with disabilities are not eligible to apply for these posts, however, women and transgender candidates can apply specifically for the sub-inspector and assistant jailor positions.

Step 2: Click on the link that mentions ‘Recruitment for S.I. of Police & equivalent rank (CPSE-2024)’
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page. Click on the ‘Registration’ link.
Step 4: Fill in your details, then the qualification details and then upload the documents.
Step 5: Save and submit the application form.
