Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

📍 For Classes 1–5:

• Passed 12th (Intermediate) with minimum required marks
• Diploma in Special Education (recognized by RCI)
• Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
• Must have cleared Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) – Paper I

📍 For Classes 6–8:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with minimum required marks
• B.Ed in Special Education (or equivalent)
• RCI Registration
• Passed JTET – Paper II

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):

• Minimum: ~21 years
• Maximum: ~40 years (relaxation applicable as per government rules for reserved categories)

Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be appointed under the Jharkhand government teaching pay matrix:

• Level-4: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100/month (Class 1–5)
• Level-5: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300/month (Class 6–8)
