Eligibility Criteria
🎓 Educational Qualification
✔ Candidate must possess a recognised MBBS degree as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (GovNokri)
✔ Compulsory rotating internship must be completed before appointment (candidates completing internship before joining are eligible).
UPSC CMSE Requirement
✔ Only candidates whose names appear in the Disclosure Lists of the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2022 or CMSE 2023 conducted by UPSC are eligible to apply. (esic.in)
Age Limit
✔ Maximum 35 years (as specified in the official notification).
✔ Age relaxation provided for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.

Salary & Benefits
✔ Pay Scale: Level-10 of the Central Pay Matrix — ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month.
✔ Benefits include:
• Non-Practising Allowance (NPA)
• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Transport Allowance, etc., as per Central Government rules.
Selection Process
✔ Selection is merit-based and done through merit lists drawn from the UPSC CMSE 2022 & 2023 Disclosure Lists — candidates are ranked based on their CMSE scores.
✔ Separate lists are prepared for each year (2022 & 2023), and candidates from the 2022 list have seniority over 2023 list candidates.
✔ No separate written exam is conducted — selection is purely based on UPSC CMSE marks.
