Qualification Required
Candidates need Matriculate/10th pass plus a minimum 3-year Diploma (or higher relevant qualification) from a government-recognized institute.
- E&T: Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
- Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Electrical: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Distance/part-time diplomas are invalid; higher degrees like B.Tech in relevant branches are acceptable.
Selection Process, Exam Mode & Syllabus
Selection involves a Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 100 MCQs (90 minutes, no negative marking, bilingual English-Hindi).
- Section A (70 marks): Technical knowledge (discipline-specific).
- Section B (30 marks): GK, Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal/Mental Ability, Quantitative Aptitude.
Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS), 40% (reserved categories). Followed by document verification and medical exam.
Indicative Syllabus: Technical per engineering diploma; general section covers current affairs, logical reasoning, maths basics.
