Vacancy & Eligibility Breakdown
The 100 posts are divided among Graduate, Diploma, and ITI categories:
- Graduate Apprentices (40 Posts): Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or IT.
- Diploma Apprentices (25 Posts): Full-time Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or IT.
- ITI Apprentices (35 Posts): 10th pass + ITI in trades like Electrician, Fitter, Welder, or Stenography.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (as of Jan 15, 2026).
- Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (10 years).
Merit Calculation Weightage
Since there is no written test, SJVN uses a weighted formula to rank candidates:
